Puppies Available for Adoption
We are now interviewing possible forever homes for this litter. The puppies are not ready to go to their new homes just yet but they will be in a couple of weeks. We start the interview process early because it takes time to screen homes to find a good fit for our puppies.

Normally we would do a write up for each puppy describing their unique
individual personalities and traits. However this is the first litter that we have
had where the puppies are so similar in personality and temperament that
we will use one write up instead.
All the puppies in this litter are very playful and will bark at each other and
do their funny puppy bum wiggle dance with their paws and head down on
the ground and their butt in the air with tail wagging fiercely to entice the
other puppies or adult dogs to play. It really is so cute to watch as the puppies
try to act all boss like and take each other on.
The puppies love bombarding the adult dogs also who usually just lie on their sides allowing the puppies to do as they will. The puppies jump all over the adult dogs making fierce puppy warrior noises while thinking they have the upper hand.
The puppies love going outside and bouncing around and playing with each
other, especially in the snow. They whine at the door to go out and are the last
to come in, I often have to go get them to bring them in after the adult dogs
have come in. The outside is an exciting place and they have lots of space
to run around and do those funny puppy things they do.
All the puppies are well socialized and are equally comfortable with the every
day sounds in and around the home. The puppies have no problem attacking
my feet while I am cooking in the kitchen and they don't even notice the loud
noises outside that the GO train makes when it passes by in the background.
So they are use to the hustle and bustle of everyday life and it's noises.
The puppies love to interact with all of us from the feet up. They all love to
nibble feet and if we are lying down on the bed with them they all beeline for
our faces to smoother us with puppy kisses. We do end up taking a paw or
two to the face as they all try to do this at the very same time lol so it is a good
thing they are tiny still. Occasionally we end up with a ear getting a quick
nibble on it or our hair pulled but its all good puppy loving.
We free feed all of our dogs in the kitchen and the puppies will wander in and
out of the kitchen to eat and drink whenever they want to. It is normal for dogs
to bring a piece of their food into another room (the one you are in) to eat it and
then go back for more, repeating the process. Occasionally they get distracted
by the broom in the kitchen and they start pulling on the bristles and having fun.
All of our dogs have been trained to eliminate on pee pads inside the house
as well as using the potty outside. We train our dogs to eliminate both ways
because this allows them flexibility in the type of home that will be able to
adopt them. Being trained both ways allows our puppies to be adopted by loving families that live in an apartment without outside potty access or
for a home that has access to a outside potty.
All the puppies are very comfortable going outside to do their business as well
as using the pee pads inside the house although they are far from house
trained and sometimes miss the pee pads.
If you want your puppy to only do their business outside you will need to train
them to your preference. They will need frequent visits outside until they understand that is the ONLY place you will be allowing them to do their
business. None of the puppies potty training is complete and they will
require your attention and diligence to help them learn where it is you
want them to do their business.
One of the reasons we keep our puppies till they are 10 to 12 weeks old rather
than selling them at 8 weeks is so when they come to you they are pretty
much past the biting stage. With that said even at this age the puppies are young,
we have been training them not to bite but all puppies bite especially at these younger ages. We have a gentle correction method we use (and will teach you) to discourage biting that really works and that puppies learn quickly.
The puppies have been allowed up on our bed with us for some time now and
hey love it there with us. So far they haven't slept on the bed with us yet but
we would normally start allowing that in a week or so, once they are
big enough. We are ultimately looking for a home that would welcome their
puppy to sleep with them, it is very comforting for the puppy and for us as well.
When the puppies are on the bed they will smother you with doggie kisses and ear nibbles. You might have to fight for your pillow as well because puppies love sleeping up close to your head and neck area like they have done from birth with their mom.
All of the puppies from this litter are absolutely delightful and they are full of spunk
and super friendly too. They love interacting with us and getting cuddled, their
ears and heads scratched and a good tummy rub too. They are a true
delight and we find ourselves laughing at their silly antics all the time
and we enjoy them immensely.
All the puppies are very affectionate and love to cuddle, and we
know they will bring their new families much joy and happiness.
